Estate Caretakers required to work with Birmingham based award winning Housing Associations Maintenance team. My client requires experienced and professional estate caretakers on a permanent contract to carry out property and estate maintenance. Work will include:
- Communal area cleaning
- Clearing
- Gardening
- Leaf clearances
- Litter picking
- Graffiti removal
- Minor general building maintenance
Work will be carried out on sheltered accommodation, retirement schemes and villages as well as accommodation blocks. You will need to be friendly, approachable and have good communication skills. You will be covering Birmingham locations, based out of the client's office not far from Birmingham Airport, Solihull/M42. Access to a company van is provided, so you will need a driving license.
This is a full-time role Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week, from 8.00am – 15.30pm. This is a permanent role offering:
- £23,741 per annum
- Company Van
- 28 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- 12% workplace pension
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in caretaking, gardening, cleaning, laboring or similar role
- UK Driving License
- Good IT skills as you will be using an iPad to access a portal to log all required repairs and completion of health and safety checks
