This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity for an exceptional, highly professional Business Development Manager to be part of a Proactive Letting Agency in Edinburgh.

The Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for being proactive in pitching for and securing new letting business, both in terms of property and clients. You will be required to work closely with and provide new stock for a busy and successful letting team. You will be responsible for ensuring immediate and continued growth to the managed portfolio and will be innovative in winning business in this competitive market.

The successful candidate will have to clearly demonstrate their extensive knowledge of the letting industry, not just to react to new business requests, but to show their ability to get amongst developers, investors and portfolio clients. A clear understanding of property investment & a strong background in Sales is essential… 

Responsible for….

· Your main role will be to pitch for and successfully win quality instructions for the Team. Not just reactive but to know your market and be broadminded in creating opportunity to pitch. 

· To visit the properties and assess their rental potential thereafter providing written reports to clients as required.

· To work closely with the team to collect and lodge accurate data.

· To have a sound knowledge and experience of the local letting market in terms of residential property investment and rental values and the regulations with in it.

· You must have desire for accuracy and efficient processes and a drive to win business and to analyse your success.

· Develop promotional material

· Attend Networking events

· In particular your skills must include the ability to communicate well with a varied customer base and to respond to a variety of customer needs.

· You must be able to deliver under pressure and enjoy working with a friendly property team.

• A full clean Driving Licence is essential
• Letting and property management experience is essential

• Have excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and good keyboard skills
