Secondary Teacher of Mathematics

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Mathematics for a Secondary School in Halesowen from September 2024. The role will consist of teaching Mathematics to pupils mainly in KS3. The school is willing to be flexible around planning and marking for the right person.

The skills we are looking for include:

1. Qualified Teacher Status either PGCE/GTP or Cert Ed
2. Teaching experience within the past 2 years (this can include training experience)
3. Assessing pupils, marking work and giving verbal feedback as appropriate.
4. High expectations and positive classroom management.
5. Positive approach to promoting learning
6. Enthusiasm and confidence in their profession
7. Organised, hard-working, adaptable and flexible
8. Innovative and imaginative teaching methods
