About the Role: As an Infrastructure Engineer, you\’ll play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of core infrastructure systems – including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services. This is a varied, fast-paced role where you\’ll get stuck into both project work and BAU support, ensuring systems remain secure, scalable, and future-ready. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and support on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure (Azure/AWS). Administer and improve core services including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policy. Take the lead in infrastructure projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and security of systems and services. Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure infrastructure aligns with business needs. Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.What You\’ll Bring: Proven experience in an infrastructure or systems engineering role. Strong working knowledge of: Microsoft Server technologies (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022) Virtualisation platforms (Hyper-V, VMware) Cloud platforms (Azure preferred) Networking fundamentals (firewalls, switches, VPNs) Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or similar) is highly desirable. A proactive approach with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Certifications like Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), Azure Administrator, or VMware VCP are a plus.
