Zencargo is looking for an experienced Product Manager to work in one of our cross-functional Experience Teams. The role works alongside our other Product Managers to deliver our product strategy which will help us realise our vision of a world with smarter trade, and our mission of making our customers’ supply chain their competitive advantage.

Our platform is a web application with features that enable customers to capture their products and suppliers; plan and book their shipping; track shipments to arrival; pay for shipping; and analyse their supply chain performance. We provide the platform, combined with our freight services, to major retailers across the globe, with a particular focus on the UK and EU. We have an exciting vision for the platform over the coming years so there will be opportunities to build market-leading and market-first features that satisfy and delight our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out user research and analyse opportunities by staying close to our customers, suppliers, and competitors
  • Work with the wider business to understand requirements and facilitate product launches
  • Collaborate with designers & software engineers to develop solutions that meet users’ needs and further the aims of the product strategy
  • Support engineers to iteratively deliver releases based on feedback led by you
  • Communicate progress and promote your team’s efforts to all stakeholders internally
  • Define and track the metrics which show the impact of your team’s work
  • Act as the customer’s voice in prioritisation

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Worked as a product manager or adjacent role in a software organisation
  • Demonstrable passion for solving customer problems
  • Focused on delivering and measuring outcomes
  • An ability to translate user needs and product strategy into successful solutions
  • A curiosity to explore and communicate new problem spaces
  • Excellent collaboration skills both leading execution across teams and influencing across the organisation
