Connect 44 is looking for a Packet Core Designer to join our team. Below are the basic requirements:

• Detailed knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G NSA and 5G SA packet core systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Ericsson’s PS Core Products and Ericsson OSS tools.
• Extensive knowledge of Virtualised environments (OpenStack, VMWare) and Cloud based computing.
• Extensive knowledge of PS core network functionality and technology, including all PS Core interfaces, mobility management procedures, session management procedures, interworking & handover, QoS, GTP, IP technology, MVNO, national & international roaming.
• Extensive knowledge of traffic monitoring systems such as Wireshark, Empirix, INET, Netscout.
• Knowledge of Performance Management systems or alternative knowledge from a similar business.
• Knowledge of Radio, BSS, OSS, terminals and services etc.
