We are currently recruiting a Trainee Management Accountant to join a well-established distribution company based in Prescot, Merseyside. We are looking for a recent Accounts and Finance or Mathematics graduate who has ambitions of becoming a future Finance Manager.

Working in a large finance team and reporting to the Financial controller who reports to the Finance Director. You will gain a vast amount of experience in transactional accounts as well as management accounts.

The Trainee Management Accountant will be responsible for:

Assisting with month end processes
Accruals and prepayments
Costing contracts
Assisting with Mergers and Acquisitions
Credit control
Payroll assistance

Profile

Must be recently accountancy/finance/Maths graduate with a minimum of a 2.1
Aspirations to progress onto CIMA/ACCA
Advanced Excel skills, VLOOKUP\’s, Pivot tables, formulas
The ambition to progress in the future
The ability to operate as part of a fast-paced team

The successful Trainee Management Accountant applicant will receive:

Up to £21,000 starting salary
