We are working with one of the largest private accounting firms in the UK who are looking for bright grads to join this year's class. You will get to work in a well-respected and established firm that works with a range of high-value companies and clients. They are currently looking for a Graduate Trainee Accountant to join their team; this would be an excellent opportunity to further your career allowing you to become a qualified accountant as they provide study support (CIMA/ACCA).

The responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Cashflow analysis.
  • Adhoc reporting.
  • Month end accounting support to the Financial Controller.
  • Provide detailed analysis with commentary as needed to show profitability.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop methods to gain a greater understanding of the figures in a timely manner.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in a numeric related subject i.e. Accountancy and Finance, Maths or Economics (min 2:1).
  • A high level of analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to complete accounting qualifications.
  • Excel including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
