This specialist manufacturer is seeking mechanical maintenance engineers who are not just reliable and willing to work hard, but who have a continuous improvement mindset to work with the leadership team as they drive forward to become a world class engineering environment. This role will keep you busy and give you a real sense of achievement as the site progresses in its journey to be best in class. In this role you will work as part of a maintenance team to support 24/7 production, working to maintain and repair plant, equipment, and buildings while striving to meet company objectives in terms of safety, efficiency, and utilisation of production equipment. Role Details: Salary of £35-36K plus £9k shift allowance Panama shift pattern working 12 hours days and nights 2 weeks working 7am to 7pm 2 weeks working 7pm to 7am Benefits: Bonus 10% of salary based on company performance Pension 3% employee contribution, 6% employer contribution Holidays of 22 shifts annually Enhanced sick pay EAP service 1 volunteering day per year Key responsibilities of mechanical maintenance engineer: Mechanical breakdown repairs across the site. Maintaining high safety standards at all times Implement planned maintenance and repairs to ensure the smooth operation of production plant. Deliver cost effective and reliable maintenance of all site utility services Identify, recommend and implement continuous improvements and any energy saving initiatives to the plant. Maintain appropriate systems, checks, procedures, records and tests to meet site requirements. Assist in management of spare parts stock level availability. Working with production and technical areas to assist in troubleshooting processing problems Assist with the training and instruction of operatives.
