In this role, you will be responsible for producing both drawings and manufacturing models using 2D and 3D CAD - specifically AutoCAD. You will also be responsible for instructing, supervising and checking surveys carried out by subcontractors. You will also attend project design meetings whilst reporting to the Lead CAD Technician.
The ideal Trainee CAD Technician will have a knowledge of both 2D and 3D CAD packages - specifically AutoCAD as well as a knowledge of the construction sector and joinery industry.
