A leading SEN school in Surrey, providing a safe learning environment for children with complex learning, social, and communication difficulties, including physical disabilities. The school offers therapies such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, music, and speech and language therapies, integrated into the children's Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). The team collaborates closely with therapists to support the physical and emotional needs of the children. Facilities include a therapy pool, sensory rooms, and I-Gaze technology. The school also provides excellent on-site training and development pathways for progression to roles such as senior support assistants, teachers, and therapy assistants.

Working in their new early years provision based at a primary school in Ripley, due to high demand and the school's reputation for high-quality SEN education. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing assistance and support for children before, during, and after lessons.
  • Helping children understand and participate in tasks appropriately.
  • Encouraging the development of social skills.
  • Participating in team meetings and training sessions as an active team member.
  • Following safeguarding regulations.
  • Supporting individual needs, including medical and personal care tasks (training provided), and offering physical support when necessary.

Suitable for graduates in Clinical Psychology, Learning Support, or Teaching Assistance. Daily rate: £85 to £100 (9:15 am - 3:15 pm, 5 days a week). Temporary to permanent contracts. Ideal for psychology graduates; state-of-the-art facilities. Experience with autism, challenging behaviour, and personal care.
