Interim Financial Reporting Accountant - £60,000 - £65,000 - 6 months FTC

We're looking for a motivated Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Finance Team on a fixed-term basis. You’ll play a key role in financial and management reporting, especially managing profit and loss reports and leading a financial services project. This is a great opportunity to help shape a high-performing finance function.

What you’ll do:

• Manage financial processes for specific partners, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
• Be the main finance contact for both internal teams and external partners.
• Oversee profit and loss reporting and analysis
• Support month-end tasks like variance analysis and balance sheet checks.
• Help with the year-end audit and preparing financial statements
• Make sure accounting standards are followed and improve processes where possible
• Keep finance procedures up to date and follow company policies
• Get involved in projects and support the wider finance team as needed

What we’re looking for:

• Recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant, ideally with audit experience
• Strong experience in financial and management accounting
• Excellent Excel skills
• Able to meet tight deadlines and keen to improve ways of working
• Great attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust
