Are you a M&E Construction Manager / Site Manager with a strong background in fitout projects? Would a 12 month contract working on a fit out project in Elephant and Castle be of interest?
We are currently working with an established and growing M&E Contractor who turnover £60M. We need to find a Mechanical Construction Manager / Site Manager to coordinate/manage testing and commissioning on apartments across multiple floors and blocks in a development.
Candidates need to be well versed in Mechanical packages with electrical knowledge and must have previously worked on M&E packages of over £10M.

- Coordinate testing and commissioning part with all M&E contractors including electrical, mechanical, ventilation, lift and sprinkler.
- Manage and coordinate testing and commissioning.
- Coordinate and assist technical team to update testing certificates in line with O&M manual portal.
- Making sure installations are to drawings.
- Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities.
- Day to day management of site construction activities including direct labour and sub-contractors whilst communicating and coordinating key project duties.
- Monitoring of the overall progress of works against the agreed construction programme.
- Working with the client and own team in managing day to day challenges.
- Completing site progress reports and issuing to the Project / Contracts Manager.
- Liaising with the commercial team to co-ordinate changes/variations.
- Maintaining accurate on-site records of all goods received on a weekly basis ensuring that these are correctly processed.
- Mechanical or Electrical background with min HND or NVQ level 6 or similar qualification.
- CSCS SMSTS.
- Minimum 2 years experience as Site Manager and worked on a commercial fitout project.
