Uber for Business is growing exponentially, and we are looking for a strong Business Development Representative to drive our business forward at this exciting time. You’ll work closely with other BDRs, Account Executives, and the broader Sales Operations team to increase Uber for Business in the UK. Your role will involve understanding and sourcing new ways for U4B to interact with clients and driving deep partnerships. We need highly motivated self-starters who thrive on challenges and enjoy working in a team of natural problem solvers. Our suite of products has expanded in recent years, so we’re looking for an all-rounder with the drive to sell holistically across an organization with passion, poise, and energy. As a Business Development Representative, you will be instrumental in customer acquisition for Uber for Business within the EMEA market.
What You'll Do
- Generate revenue pipelines through outbound prospecting (cold calls/emails).
- Build territory plans based on geography, industry, size, etc.
- Identify new business opportunities and prospect the right decision-makers within organizations.
- Meet or exceed all assigned activity and pipeline creation targets.
- Bring an innovative approach to prospecting and acquisition, with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Managers to develop and refine prioritization models, operational infrastructure, and internal tools and processes.
- Communicate effectively via phone, email, video conferencing, and in-person meetings.
What You'll Need
- 12-18 months of B2B sales or business development experience is highly preferred.
- A track record of exceeding KPIs and activity targets consistently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of extracting necessary information from prospects and ensuring mutually beneficial conversations.
- Driven and excited about working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong organization, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to take initiative.
