Job Title: Court Usher (Band F)

Our public sector client, based in Stafford Town Centre, is recruiting for a full-time Court Usher (Band F) on a temporary basis with a good chance of extension. The role involves supporting the smooth operation of courts and delivering excellent customer service.

Role Details:

1. Location: Stafford Town Centre
2. Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday – Friday, typically between 8am – 5pm, depending on business needs
3. Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour, paid weekly
4. Type: Temporary, with potential for extension
5. Work Arrangement: Fully onsite, no hybrid or remote work

Responsibilities:

• Set up court rooms with necessary supplies (water, pads, pens, etc.)
• Ensure the correct scheduling of court rooms
• Collate court files and papers
• Provide directions to court rooms
• Record court outcomes
• Perform data entry tasks

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong face-to-face customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
• Subject to an enhanced DBS check (free of charge)
