Job Title: Manager – Regional Sales & Marketing (Nickel – Europe)

Job Description:

This role supports our Nickel business by executing regional sales strategies for Europe and North America. It involves maximizing value from the mines to customers for equity products, developing opportunities for material solutions, and creating new sales and marketing opportunities to maximize the regional sales book\’s sustainable value within risk and governance policies.

The role provides insights into local and regional markets, suppliers, customers, and competitors across the sales and trading book.

Responsibilities include:

1. Develop and implement near to medium-term sales strategies for the region.
2. Support the Marketing & Sales Director in developing global sales strategies and setting targets.
3. Achieve budgeted sales volume, netback performance, P&L, and working capital targets.
4. Optimize the sales book value during customer negotiations.
5. Understand customer-specific value-in-use of nickel products to create tailored sales/marketing solutions.

Contract Execution:

• Manage existing customer accounts and develop long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with sales operations to ensure excellent service and resolve customer issues promptly.

Business Development:

• Identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities.
• Implement new commercial opportunities such as logistics optimization and third-party sourcing.

Compliance:

• Adhere to marketing policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
• Comply with security and operating standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in material science, metallurgy, engineering, or related fields; or advanced qualifications in these areas.
• At least 5 years of marketing/trading experience in Nickel or related products targeting stainless and specialty steel segments.
• Knowledge of industry trends, processing technologies, and market developments in nickel, molybdenum, chrome, stainless steel, etc.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.
