Civils Labourer

VEA Telecoms UK are currently recruiting for the roles of a Civils Operatives, that will be based in Kendal but will require being able to work across various sites in Cumbria daily.

Due to the high amount of risk involved in this job, Civils Operatives must be first and foremost a responsible individual with a great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate must also be experienced in different kinds of groundworks.

Key responsibilities:

-You will take responsibility for the safety, quality and environmental elements of your work site and the welfare of your fellow employees within.

-Plan and co-ordinate site works in accordance with the instructions of the client and the Operations Manager.

-Ensure that equipment, materials, and site arrangements are ready at the beginning of the day. You may be required to start early to organise this.

-Ensure that risk assessments are carried out daily and all safety, health & environmental requirements are undertaken to maintain a consistent, safe delivery of service.

– Experience of dealing with blockages and reinstatements.

This is a pivotal role in our business as it allows us to quickly move to the build stage before reinstatement and continue to grow our Telecoms presence.
