Medical delivery driver

The client operates a multi‑drop medical delivery operation from a depot in the Hemel area and is looking for experienced delivery drivers to join their team.

Key Details

• Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, with some Saturday coverage.
• Daily deliveries: 40‑50 small packets per shift using a standard transit van with multi‑temperature compartments.
• Start times: 5:30 am – 8:30 am.
• Guaranteed 5 shifts per week (approximately a 48‑hour work week).
• Pay rate: £13.93 per hour.
• Temp‑to‑perm basis, subject to performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescriptions accurately and efficiently to residential addresses.
• Ensure timely delivery of multi‑drop, temperature‑sensitive medications.
• Maintain accurate logs and handover times for each delivery.
• Adhere to all safety and company policies during vehicle operation.
• Provide friendly and professional service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license with no more than 6 minor points.
• Experience in a multi‑drop delivery environment (or similar).
• Attention to detail and conscientious handling of medication.
• Friendly, reliable and able to work independently.
