An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager with fluency in both French and English! This role is the subject matter expert for France, ensuring that all statutory accounting and tax returns are accurate, filed, and settled on time. This full-time permanent position can be performed remotely, offering flexible working opportunities.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities.
  • Ensure all accounting information is submitted into our accounting system accurately.
  • Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments, maintaining the fixed asset and intangible asset registers.
  • Provide documentary evidence to support the accounting system each month.
  • Manage audit and provide requested deliverables for the year-end audit.
  • Ensure VAT returns and Payroll Tax reports are filed accurately and on time.
  • Provide support across teams when required.
  • Maintain current process and relevant systems knowledge.
  • Work with transaction teams on a day-to-day basis to ensure they are appropriately trained.

What you bring:

  • Fluent French and English speaker.
  • Education to high school diploma/college degree level preferred, Maths and English qualifications essential.
  • Professional Accounting qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) or studying towards.
  • NetSuite or similar accounting software experience is essential.
  • Demonstrable previous experience of being an accounting lead in a French entity is essential.
  • Experience of working across multiple global departments is preferred.
