Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Verify supplier documents (Business Registration, VAT Certificate, Product Certifications, etc.)
  • Conduct due diligence checks to assess supplier legitimacy
  • Cross-check details against global compliance databases and fraud prevention lists
  • Communicate with suppliers via email & chat to request additional documents or clarifications
  • Maintain detailed records of verification outcomes and correspondence
  • Flag and report suspicious or fraudulent activities
  • Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with the Compliance & Support teams to improve verification processes
  • Assist with periodic audits to keep supplier records updated

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in KYC, Compliance, or Document Verification
  • Strong knowledge of KYC and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations
  • Experience in document review & verification (business licenses, tax documents, certifications)
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) for supplier correspondence
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in documents
  • Familiarity with compliance databases, fraud prevention tools, or ERP systems
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in B2B platforms, fintech, or marketplaces is a plus
