Job Title: Pig Stockperson

We are recruiting a Pig Stockperson for an agricultural university farm in Shropshire, TF10.

Position Details:

1. Full-time role contributing to high standards of care for the pig unit, including hygiene, fertility, production, nutrition, and general animal husbandry.
2. Previous livestock experience required; training provided.

Candidate Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
• Responsibility for tasks and sound decision-making skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills and motivation to work with animals.
• Commitment to livestock health and welfare.
• Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• High standards of housekeeping and hygiene.

Salary: £28,381 – £30,805 DOE

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, including potential overtime with time off in lieu.
