We have an amazing opportunity for you to become a Personal Assistant to a recent university graduate. They have just secured a new home in the Middlesbrough area and are looking for like-minded individual to assist them in daily living. Start Date: 17th December 2024 Location: Ormesby, Middlesbrough (TS7) Shift Pattern: 2 Weeks on/ 2 Weeks off (live in) Full UK Driving Licence required for this position Rate of Pay & Benefits Pay: £150 per day / £1,050 per week Holidays: 5.6 weeks (pro rata) Free accommodation whilst on shift Bespoke training in the clients particular requirements will be provided On-call support from client coordinator About our Client Our client is an outgoing and independent individual passionate about sports, especially Powerchair Football, where he represents Sevenoaks and the England Development Squad. Living with Cerebral Palsy, he uses an electric wheelchair and values a supportive PA who can assist with personal care, daily tasks, and social activities while respecting his need for independence and privacy. Written by him I am a recently graduated Global Sports Journalism student from the University of East London. I am looking for a PA to help me with personal care and socialising. My condition affects my day to day living in the following ways: I have Cerebral Palsy which causes my muscles to be stiff, so I need someone who is understanding and patient as it can take me longer to do things. I use an electric wheelchair as I cannot walk. I want to be as independent as possible, to get out and about to experience life. I have recently moved up north after being in London and I am keen to discover and explore the area. My main hobby is sport. I take part in Powerchair Football, and currently represent Sevenoaks in the Premiership, and the England Development Squad. I will need someone who is able to drive me to training on Sundays and help me over weekends (5 times a year for league meetings in Nottingham). I enjoy a wide variety of music, and I also enjoy playing video games. I love watching football and going to football matches, Im a keen Chelsea fan. Football isnt the only sport I love watching though. Cricket, Rugby, Darts, there arent many sports I wont watch!
