Job Description:

We are seeking a Salesforce Software Engineer to join a Delivery Digital Platform team working with a non-profit organization based in London. The role involves building out new features, integrating Salesforce with various data systems, developing visualization dashboards to display key progress indicators, and maintaining our Salesforce-powered digital platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy new Salesforce features to meet business needs.
• Integrate Salesforce with internal and external data systems for seamless data flow.
• Create dynamic dashboards to visualize progress and key metrics.
• Collaborate with project managers, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Test and debug software to ensure high performance.
• Maintain and support the Salesforce platform, troubleshooting issues and applying updates.
• Stay updated with Salesforce features, technologies, and best practices for continuous improvement.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or Salesforce Developer with a portfolio of projects.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce API integrations.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities.
• Experience with data modeling, management, and security within Salesforce.
• Skills in developing dashboards and reports within Salesforce.
• Knowledge of integrating Salesforce with various data systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data migration tools.
• Salesforce Developer Certification is highly desirable.
