We are currently recruiting for full-time or part-time permanent Support Workers to support adults with learning disabilities and autism. A major part of the Support Worker role is to understand the person you are supporting, which at times will include providing emotional and practical support to enable someone to live their life, their way. No experience is required in this role, just a commitment to empower people to achieve independence and develop life skills. No two days are the same in a supporting role, and if you like variety in your day, this could be the role for you.

What we’re looking for:

  • A commitment to empowering people, working closely with their family, and maintaining a positive and compassionate nature.
  • Self-direction, the ability to take responsibility, and remaining calm in difficult situations
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, bank holidays and sleep-ins
  • Full UK Manual driving license
