Radis Community Care has an opportunity for Double Up Care Workers to cover areas in Tamworth. Shift times available are 6am-2pm, 4pm-10pm, and alternate weekends. Full-time and part-time hours are available.
For this role, you need to drive and have use of your own vehicle, e.g., car, motorbike, or moped, due to the areas covered.
More and more people want to remain in their own homes with their loved ones and their cherished memories and surroundings. At Radis, we strive to make this a reality for as many individuals as possible, with the support of passionate Care Workers making a difference in their lives. As part of a double-up team, two care workers work together to support service users with mobility issues and equipment. Manual handling training is provided to use the supplied equipment.
As a Care Worker, the role is varied — here are some essential points:
