About The Role

We are looking for a Site Security Guard for our Llantarnum site.

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Checking and controlling access / egress to site.
• Welcoming visitors, signing them in and ensuring they understand site rules.
• Managing visitor car parking.
• Managing weighbridge activities.
• Watching closed-circuit television (CCTV) and controlling footage.
• Walking around the site, checking security and looking out for problems.
• Searching cars and employees as required.
• Training as First Aiders to deal with emergencies if other first aiders are unavailable.
• Managing site keys and the locking of office doors.
• Receiving and dealing with incoming telephone calls.
• Making tannoy message announcements as required.
• Dealing with emergencies (fire).
• Writing reports on site incidents.
