Join United Institute Netherlands as a part-time lecturer and bring your expertise to our dynamic, international classrooms. We’re growing our team of passionate educators at our centrally located Amsterdam campus.

Course Delivery Model:

  • Freelance, contract-based lecturing assignments
  • Courses delivered over a 4-week term (8 or 10 sessions in total)
  • 24–30 in-person contact hours per course (3-hour blocks)
  • Time slots: Morning: 08:30–11:30, Midday: 12:30–15:30, Afternoon: 15:30–18:30

Responsibilities include:

  • Course delivery based on institutional syllabus templates
  • Student engagement (via Microsoft Teams/email)
  • Grading, assessment design, and reporting

United Institute follows a quarter-based academic calendar (Fall, Winter, Spring), each split into two modular terms (A and B). Each module consists of four instructional weeks and one assessment week. This structure will continue through the 2025–2026 academic year.

Your profile:

  • Prior teaching or corporate training experience
  • Proven expertise in relevant subject area
  • English fluency (C1+); non-native speakers must provide a valid language certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, etc.)
  • Teaching qualification (BKE, PGCHE, PGDHE, Master in Education)
  • CRKBO registration (or willingness to register)
