An exciting PE backed consulting business is hiring a Management Accountant reporting to the Financial Controller. The role is diverse and interesting with great opportunities to learn and progress. The work offers a great deal of exposure and covers many aspects.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management accounts and assisting the Financial Controller in running the department. The role will contribute to the ongoing strategic direction of the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Production of the monthly management accounts
- Financial analysis
- Presentation of the management information
- Day-to-day accounting tasks
You will be an effective partner to the business and excited about the opportunity to develop a productive relationship with non-finance colleagues. The business requires a competent and diligent person who is commercially aware and can make key decisions that will impact on the business.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA) with effective communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be highly numerate, highly organised and prepared to use initiative and challenge existing processes. Naturally, you will be confident with the ability to build key relationships.
This role is looking to pay £55,000 plus bonus and benefits. The offices are based in central London (zone 1).
