We are looking for reliable and dependable people to join our Domestic Assistant Staff Bank to enable the provision of supplementary staffing to cover periods of staffing shortfalls to support the wards, departments and clinics throughout NHS Western Isles. This post may be suitable for all including those students currently studying, coming home for the holiday season or those who may be leaving school and looking for a career with security, excellent leave and pension benefits.
The postholder will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties, as per the National Cleaning Services Specification. The successful candidate will need to achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full-time employment or up to six months for part-time workers.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme. This post is not eligible for relocation expenses. This post is NOT eligible for Sponsorship.
