Greycoat Lumley’s client are seeking either a Housekeeper or Couple for their estate on the Isle of Islay. The successful candidates will be enthusiastic and hard-working people to join the team to provide housekeeping and dinner service in an 8-bedroom family home. The Estate also has 5 self-catering properties in which you would be responsible for carrying out the changeovers.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a Couple to work together in a Privately Owned Estate in a stunning location with plenty of outdoor activities and tourist trips to attend.
Reporting into the Head Housekeeper, duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Housekeeping/General Estate Maintenance
- Preparing Estate properties in advance of guests’ arrival and carrying out changeovers upon their departure
- Daily housekeeping
- Service of breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Estate properties as required
- Running errands for guests/family
- Preparation of vacant properties prior to staff/tenants moving in
- General maintenance in Estate properties
- Cutting grass
- Painting outdoor furniture
- Assisting in the garden as required
Previous Housekeeping experience would be advantageous; however, full training for this role will also be given. Applicants should have a full manual driving license to carry out shopping/running additional errands as required.
Accommodation: 2 bedroom cottage (candidate must contribute Council tax £25/week and Electricity £25/week)
Hours: 40 per week
Days: 5 out of 7 per week
Hourly rate: £13
Seasonal OR Full Time Position - minimum of 6 months considered
Start Date: ASAP
