Job Description:
As a housekeeper at NewNormandy Barracks in Aldershot, you\’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality cleaning services that contribute to a clean, safe, and healthy environment. This role is essential for the well-being of everyone on site, and you\’ll be a key part of our team. You will have the opportunity to interact daily with armed forces personnel, making a positive impact on their quality of life and the overall atmosphere of the location.
What You\’ll Do:
- Focus on the details: Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks efficiently and precisely, ensuring all spaces meet high standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene: Take pride in keeping all areas clean, safe, and healthy. Take ownership of your work to reflect your commitment to quality.
- Collaborate with your team: Participate in daily meetings to discuss priorities, share updates, and coordinate with colleagues and supervisors.
- Manage supplies: Monitor stock levels and restock consumables like toilet tissue and cleaning supplies to ensure smooth operations.
- Champion safety and well-being: Follow health and safety practices diligently. Report hazards or incidents immediately to maintain a safe environment.
What You Bring:
- Willingness to learn: Previous cleaning experience is a plus, but comprehensive training and induction will equip you with necessary skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills: Ability to interact professionally and courteously with colleagues and personnel.
