Temporary Lecturer – Barbering

With experience in Barbering, the successful candidate will have the necessary skills to support the learning, teaching, assessing and development of this curriculum area, within an exciting and dynamic discipline.

Qualified to SVQ level 3 in Barbering and with current industry experience, you must have sound understanding, knowledge and occupational competence of the subject area. You must possess excellent communication, digital and organisational skills and have the ability to motivate and encourage students by adopting innovative methods of learning and teaching, in a classroom setting or virtually.

Possession of a teaching qualification, assessor and/or verifier units and experience in delivering and developing the subject curriculum within further education would be advantageous.

This post may involve cross-campus teaching.
