My client is a major wholesaler in the area, who sells quality brands. They have been trading for over 70 years and are looking to bring fresh new talent into the finance team!
You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager, starting off doing transactional finance and then moving into management accounts, giving you exposure to all aspects of the finance team. This is a challenging and demanding role offering an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic customer-focused team.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Finance Manager with producing management accounts and budgets
- Posting of invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintaining Sage accounts and internal controls
- Liaising between various departments and working with our customers
- Preparing payments
Essential qualities include:
- Must have a 2:1 or above in Accountancy / Maths / Economics / Business
- Proficient spreadsheet and ICT skills
- Strong numeracy, literacy and accuracy skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to high standards of service delivery
- A professional approach and can-do attitude
