Trial Balance is working with a very friendly firm to assist with the recruitment of a temporary Accounts Assistant to cover an assignment based in their offices in Saltash for a period of around 3 months. Working with a supportive finance team, your duties in this varied role will include:
- Uploading invoices and credit notes to Sage through Paperless
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Preparing and processing BACS supplier payments from Sage
- Preparing and processing foreign currency payment runs
- Making ad hoc bank payments as required
- Management of accounts and Paperless inbox
- Full responsibility for purchase ledger
- Downloading credit card statements, checking coding and entering onto Sage
- Entering foreign branches expenses onto Sage
- Small amount of monthly processing for group company
This role would suit a candidate with strong recent experience in an Accounts Assistant role, and AAT qualifications would be highly beneficial but are not essential. Previous experience using Sage is desirable, and you will need to have strong skills in MS Excel.
