Avante Care & Support is a Registered Charity supporting over 1,000 older people through our registered nursing and dementia care homes and home care services. As the Home Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring clinical governance and compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of compassion, accountability, and respect within the team.
The Requirements:
- You’ll need to be versatile, flexible, and able to empower employees so that they can help residents live a vibrant and fulfilling life through active support, empowerment, risk-taking that is constructive, and creative thinking.
- We welcome all applications from candidates who have previous experience of successfully managing a care home with a similar (or greater) number of residents.
- You will have a strong background in elderly care (within a care home environment); good leadership experience, including being fully conversant with all CQC regulations; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and a passion for providing high-quality person-centred care.
Remuneration & Working hours:
- £65K
- This is a full-time role (37 hours per week). All Home Managers are required to work additional hours and/or weekends/evenings, when requested.
Pension: Avante provides an occupational pension scheme and the post-holder may elect to become a member of this scheme.
