The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.
Your role will be to service, maintain and repair our hire fleet which are the leading brands in their field. As we are the main dealer for Takeuchi Mini Excavators, Thwaites Dumpers, Bomag Compaction, Atlas Copco & Epiroc you will be expected to carry out warranty work plus service & repair our customers' machinery. The company will provide the successful candidate with excellent training opportunities.
This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week. The right candidate must be adaptable with good problem-solving & communication skills to work closely with our depot teams, customers & manufacturers.
You will need the following skills / abilities for the role of fitter / service engineer:
- Experience in servicing and repairing manufacturers' plant equipment.
- Experienced in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
- Trained to NVQ level 2 or 3 Plant Maintenance preferred (but not essential).
- Work effectively within a team.
- Have your own tools.
