Schools People Senior Business Partner- HR & Employment Law (GDPR/OH a bonus)

The Schools People is a provider of HR & Employment Law Consultancy and DPO Services to Schools, Academies, and Multi Academy Trusts. Through our parent company Schools Advisory Service, we also support their clients with advice on Occupational Health matters and are launching the Doctor HR service this year to provide added value.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Schools People Senior Business Partner in HR & Employment Law, with knowledge of GDPR and Occupational Health management in education being advantageous. The role is home-based (we set you up), with travel across the NW and wider areas required to support clients on-site. The Senior Business Partner will deliver HR and Employment Law consultancy to clients, covering education HR and employment law issues. Contributions to our DPO or Doctor HR services are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Strong HR and Employment Law knowledge in the education sector
• Experience with employee relations casework
• Experience working with trade unions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Knowledge of employment law and regulations
• Experience in the education sector
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD) preferred or willingness to pursue CPD
• Knowledge or experience of GDPR/DPO services or Occupational Health advising is advantageous
