Monday to Friday: £15.00ph / £16.81*

Wakeful Nights: £19.50ph / £21.85*

Saturday & Sunday: £19.50ph

Sleep Ins: £60

Bank Holiday: £22.50ph – £29.25ph

*We offer a £300 sign on bonus*

We are currently recruiting Children’s and Young Person\’s Community & Residential Support Workers. Successful candidates will support children and young people to meet their physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and cultural needs within the service.

In this role, you will help children within the homes by aiding the services with routines and boundaries, following the individuals\’ personal plans to provide them with positive experiences and memories.

We are looking for candidates who have a passion for working with younger individuals. Some of the children you may come into contact with could have physical or learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism, ADHD, or various medical ailments.

With this position, we currently have contracts with children\’s homes and projects across the Swansea area, allowing you to pick up shifts or blocks of shifts in various homes.

The successful candidate must:

1. Be registered or willing to register with Social Care Wales.
2. Have a minimum of 6 months experience working in the same environment or with children within the UK.
3. A transferable DBS is preferred, but we can apply for one on your behalf if needed.

*We offer holiday pay that is accrued based on the number of hours worked. If you do not wish to accept holiday pay, we can add 12.1% to each of the hourly rates above!

For example: £15.00 per hour + 12.1% = £16.81 per hour or £19.50 per hour + 12.1% = £21.85 per hour

** To be eligible for the £300 sign-on bonus, you MUST have Level 3 Health & Social Care (CHILDREN).
