Job Title: Director / Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) – Start-Up IDNO Location: United Kingdom Salary: Competitive Package + Benefits E1 Partners is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Energy business who are looking for a Director/CCO to establish a new Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) as part of a larger group, positioning themselves as a leader in the energy infrastructure market. The client is looking for a Director / CCO to help set up the IDNO from scratch including commercials, regulation, and licensing. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and success of a high-growth business. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership – Develop and execute a business strategy that delivers sustainable growth, market share, and profitability. Commercial Oversight – Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing commercial opportunities, partnerships, and innovative projects. Regulatory & Licensing activities – guide the company through the regulatory and licensing process with Ofgem. Stakeholder Engagement – Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including regulators, investors, and industry partners, to support commercial objectives. Team Leadership – Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team to support operational and commercial goals. Financial Management – Take ownership of financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving key performance targets.
