We are looking for a dedicated Process Operative to join our team at Pilgrim’s Europe- Moy Park. In this role, you will be responsible for processing products within your department while ensuring that hygiene, quality and health & safety standards are always maintained. A key part of this role is working as part of a team to achieve production KPIs.

  • Work Pattern: Working hours are 06:00am to 18:00pm, rotational, as a part of the Process 1, Team B. Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun. Week 2: Wed, Thurs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out processing duties.
  • Ensure hygiene, safety, and quality standards are maintained at all times.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain an excellent level of work consistency.
  • Perform packaging, labelling and boxing tasks.
  • Work in line with company policies and health & safety regulations.
  • Cooperate with managers and colleagues to achieve a safe and productive workplace.
  • Report hazards, defects, or incidents promptly.

Please note: This is a physical role which includes heavy lifting, manual handling, pulling, and fast-paced packing tasks. Applicants must be comfortable working in an active production environment.

Health & Safety Responsibilities

  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others.
  • Work in a safe manner and comply with Company Health & Safety Rules.
  • Wear protective clothing and equipment provided.
  • Report incidents or hazards immediately.

Essential Qualifications

  • Ability to read and write.
  • Numeracy skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • English language proficiency.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • A food hygiene qualification.
  • Awareness of food processing industry standards.
  • Knife-handling experience.
  • Previous experience in a butchery or food processing environment.
  • Data recording or computer/keyboard skills.
