Location: Glenholme Healthcare, The Marlowe's, Hemel, HP1 1GQ

Salary: Β£12.25 up to Β£12.45 per hour + Paid Training

Hours: Contracted hours available – 15, 22.5, 30, or 37.5 hours per week

Your Role as a Support Worker

Every day, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities, promoting independence, choice, and dignity. Key responsibilities include:

  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Personal care and assistance with daily routines
  • Supporting the development of independent living skills
  • Medication administration
  • Assisting with community-based activities such as swimming, social events, or leisure outings

The Marlowe's is a secure, gated development offering a mix of well-appointed studios and one-bedroom flats, tailored for adults with learning disabilities and physical needs. The setting promotes greater independence with access to a 24/7 staffed communal flat for additional support. Each home is designed with accessibility in mind – featuring wet rooms, height-adjustable kitchen worktops, and wide doors – offering comfort and personalisation to meet individual needs.
