SEN Teaching Assistant – Burton-On-Trent Are you passionate about supporting individual student's learning journeys? Do you have experience working with children in a 1:1 setting? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join Aspire People to work in schools in Burton-On-Trent, working in on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with SEN. The schools are always eager to grow and are interested in innovative staff who will brighten up the children's day and make them feel part of the class and adhere to their needs. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside the class teacher and other TA's supporting pupils with everyday school life, however, there will be times that you will need to be supporting children on a one to one and small groups bases independently. You will be a source of support for pupils and will ensure they are motivated, happy, and engaged. Responsibilities: * Provide individualized support and assistance to a specific student in Year 4. * Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver tailored lessons and activities to meet the student's unique needs. * Support the student's academic, social, and emotional development, promoting their self-confidence and independence. * Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where the student can thrive. * Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate the student's learning style and abilities. * Assist with the assessment of the student's progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher and parents. * Foster positive relationships with the student and establish clear communication channels with the school and parents. * Uphold the school's values, policies, and procedures.
