At Pace, our consultants genuinely care about the impact our work has on our customers and their customers alike. We are ‘problem solvers’ who call on our collective experience, knowledge and skills to support customers to access benefits early. Our mission is to create environments that thrive for our customers; we enable this by providing transformation, process optimisation, and automation services, all with the aim of enabling our customers to harness human autonomy. We are reimagining how transformation services are delivered, taking a human-centred approach, and our work is having a material impact on people’s lives. If this resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.
The role: We’re looking for a delivery-focused Technical Business Analyst to support the rollout of a firm-wide Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution at a leading UK accounting firm. Built on Microsoft Power Platform (Dataverse) and integrated with the firm’s practice management, compliance, finance, and HR systems, the CLM will be a central pillar in streamlining onboarding, automating KYC/AML checks, and improving data flows. You’ll work closely with developers, testers, change leads, and stakeholders across the business to shape technical requirements, map data, support ETL testing, define MVPs, and drive service design that meets real user needs. This is a strategic transformation programme — ideal for a proactive, detail-driven BA who thrives in technical environments and agile teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Shape product strategy and prioritise features based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Lead data mapping between legacy systems and the new CLM; manage data quality issues and support migration activities.
- Define and support MVPs and value slices to enable incremental delivery and de-risk transformation.
- Facilitate collaborative workshops (event storming, impact mapping, story mapping) to align stakeholders and teams.
- Conduct journey mapping and user research to ensure solutions fit within the wider ecosystem.
- Collaborate with developers to define Power Platform form logic and integration workflows.
- Assist in configuring/testing ETL pipelines and preparing data for migration (test loads, dry runs, reconciliation).
- Define UAT scenarios, support test scripting, and assist with training documentation and business process guides.
- Contribute to configuration/testing of Azure-based compliance tools (e.g. risk scoring, roles).
- Operate as a trusted advisor to the client — navigating ambiguity, resolving blockers, and surfacing hidden constraints.
- Support planning, RAID tracking, and cross-functional collaboration across the programme.
Who you are:
- A technically capable BA with experience in complex transformation projects, ideally in professional services.
- Comfortable across data, systems, and process — from spreadsheets and JSON to workshops and story maps.
- Skilled in data mapping, validation, and understanding relational models and ETL flows.
- Experience with Power Platform, Dataverse, or low-code platforms is preferred.
- Clear communicator — able to produce sharp test scripts, SOPs, training materials, and stakeholder documentation.
- Experienced working with practice management solutions is beneficial (Practice Engine is highly desirable).
- Familiarity with Azure-native tools and compliance platforms is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery, MVPs, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of Azure-native technologies or platforms is beneficial.
- A relevant qualification in Business Analysis (e.g., BCS, IIBA) is desirable.
