A progressive studio specialising in engineered timber structures is seeking a confident and technically proficient Project Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work on award-winning, sustainability-focused projects across a variety of sectors, collaborating with top-tier architects, consultants, and contractors. You’ll play a central role in driving project delivery from early design through to on-site execution, acting as the key link between clients, design teams, production teams, and site managers.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect or experienced construction project manager, with a strong grasp of the RIBA Plan of Work, UK building regulations, and mass timber methodologies. Excellent communication skills, technical confidence, and experience with British contracts are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the successful delivery of timber construction projects from early design through to on-site completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget.
  • Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment across teams.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party consultants, suppliers, and site teams to ensure clear communication, efficient workflows, and high-quality execution.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and respond to changes in scope, schedule, or cost using structured project management tools and techniques.
  • Oversee contractual processes, including payment applications and reporting, in collaboration with finance and commercial teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and deliver clear, engaging presentations and CPDs to clients, design teams, and public/private bodies.
