An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Waiter/Waitress to work in Heathrow Airport. This position is for a VIP lounge. If you have experience working in lounges or busy restaurants, we would like to hear from you!

Position: Waiter/Waitress

Location: London Heathrow Airport

Pay rate: £13.50 p/h - £14.00

Hours: Early starts from 04:00 AM and late finishes until 22:00 PM

As Lounge Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for:

  • Meet and greet passengers and create a great first impression with an engaging personality.
  • Know the lounge procedures and policies; upsell lounge services where appropriate.
  • Be familiar with the lounge menu and advise guests on dietary restrictions and allergies.
  • Set up food and lounge areas, clear stations, and restock food and beverages.
  • Prepare beverages and serve guests efficiently to avoid queues.
  • Maintain excellent communication skills to resolve guest queries effectively.

In return, Waiter/Waitress will receive:

  • Pay rate of £13.50 p/h.
  • Full-time hours between 37.5hrs to 40hrs per week.
  • Company uniform and ongoing training with opportunities for progression.
  • Criminal Record Check (DBS) reimbursed after 4 weeks.

As a lounge Waiter/Waitress, you must have:

  • Previous experience in a similar environment or a hospitality background.
  • Excellent knowledge of Food and Beverages along with interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn lounge service procedures and menus quickly.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent command of English or multilingual abilities with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings and late shifts, and ability to commute to Heathrow.

Note: All candidates will undergo a 5-year background check for reference purposes and must possess a clear police record (DBS). Candidates with experience as Host, Hostess, Food Runner, Waiter, Waitress, Food or Beverage Assistant, or Bar Staff will be highly desirable.
