As a Kitchen Hand / Relief Cook / Laundry Support, you will:
- Prepare and serve nutritious, delicious meals that bring comfort and joy to our residents.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized kitchen, thoroughly cleaning all areas, equipment, and utensils in compliance with food safety and infection control standards.
- Handle basic record-keeping tasks, including tracking meals served, missed meals, and fridge/freezer temperatures.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team to create a positive mealtime experience for all.
We seek individuals with passion and commitment. You will need:
- A positive attitude and enjoy being part of a dynamic team.
- A reliable person to assist with catering services for our elderly residents.
- Ability to handle food preparation, cooking duties, and meal service with care and precision.
- A basic understanding of food handling and hygiene, or eagerness to learn.

What makes you stand out:
- Experience in a commercial kitchen or aged care industry.
- At least one year's experience as a commercial cook in a hygiene-controlled environment.
- Certificate II in Cookery or willingness to learn.
- Current National Police Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or ability to acquire them.
