Our client is currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative to be based at the Basildon depot. This is a manual job so applicants must be physically fit for this type of work including some heavy lifting. This privately owned Company pride themselves on customer service and boast an impressive product range of over 20,000 parts featuring some of the best known brands in the industry. Operating from 3 locations (Walthamstow, Colchester and Basildon) they offer an express same day service covering areas such as London, Herts, Essex, Kent and East Anglia.
You will be responsible for:
- Picking / packing
- Maintain general housekeeping standards as required
- General warehouse duties
- Loading & unloading of vehicles
- Putting stock in locations
- Stock control / Store duties
- Some driving duties at times of need
You will need to be:
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Operative role
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
- Punctual
- Reliable
- Attention to detail
- Well organised
- Good work ethic
- A counterbalance fork truck licence would be an advantage but not essential
- A full driving licence to enable you to assist with driving duties at times of need.
