We are currently recruiting for Forge Operatives in Lye.
Details:
- Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday / 7:45am-3:45pm Friday - 41.5hrs per week
- Pay: £12.50-£13 per hour DOE
- Contract: Temp to perm
Responsibilities include:
- Hot and cold steel bending
- Bending shackles and rings
- Flash butt welding
- Use of ring rollers, hydraulic presses, and hand tools
- Adhere to work instructions (Health, Safety, and Quality)
You should have some experience in hot and cold bending of steel parts such as ring shackles, flats, and non-standard parts using ring rollers, hydraulic presses, and by hand. Experience with measuring equipment like tape measures and vernier calipers is also required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
