Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is a 130-bedroom hotel established in 2020. Situated on the doorstep of Inverness Airport, we aim to provide a comfortable and relaxed stay throughout the bar/bistro, with one meeting room and a gymnasium. Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport is managed by Lighthouse Hotel Management, the operational arm of the Molo Hotel Group.

Job Description:

As the Hotel Kitchen Porter, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the kitchen function in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Food Safety and Hygiene: Understand, implement, and maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management in accordance with legislation, hotel policies, and procedures. Minimize cross-contamination risks to staff and guests, catering to all cuisine needs.
• Team Support and Collaboration: Support the kitchen and food & beverage team, working collaboratively to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and create an enjoyable dining experience.
• Kitchen Standards: Maintain a clean, hygienic, and compliant working environment. Follow all guidance regarding food handling, preparation, and workstation expectations, seeking confirmation when necessary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Additional languages are a bonus.
• Motivated to work as part of a team, exceeding expectations and promoting the hotel’s brand and services.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as the hotel operates 24/7.
