We are seeking a Senior Information Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team at our London office. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and systems to support daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT support.
Responsibilities
- Providing first- and second-line support for IT and helpdesk issues to Lutron’s global team members, both remote and in-person.
- Resolving support calls through diagnostic techniques and relevant questions.
- Troubleshooting hardware issues with laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and video conferencing equipment.
- Addressing software issues, including Windows OS, Office 365, mobile devices, and video conferencing applications.
- Collaborating with the global PCHD & IT team to resolve escalated issues.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining computers, printers, peripherals, and network equipment.
- Maintaining IT assets through installation, configuration, and decommissioning of equipment.
- Setting up new hardware and software, ensuring network connectivity.
- Suggesting procedural improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum GPA of 2.1.
- Experience in end-user PC helpdesk support.
- Solid knowledge of operating systems and networks.
- Understanding of PC hardware and basic networking.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Service-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Travel availability up to 10%.
